Instructions

  1. Wash, core and dice apples. Dice onion.
  2. Whisk together flour, salt, black pepper & sage in a shallow dish.
  3. Trim fat off pork chops. Dip each side of the pork chops into the flour mixture, generously coating each chop.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops to skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove, set on a plate and cover.
  5. Add apples & onions to skillet. Add the butter if the pan seems dry. Stir in apple cider & chicken base. Sauté for 4-5 min. (Start the next step while apples soften.)
  6. Remove seasoning from potatoes. Cook the potatoes per pkg instructions in the microwave.
  7. Add pork chops back to skillet and nestle into apples and onions. Warm together uncovered for just a few minutes. Don't overcook or your chops will be dry.
  8. Add mixed salad to serving bowl. Rinse tomatoes & slice in half. Add to the greens. Add butter & the seasoning included w/ potatoes to your heated potatoes. Serve both along side the apple topped pork chops. Enjoy!
