Ingredients
- 24 oz Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 Red Bell Pepper
- 2 Green Bell Peppers
- 15 Mushrooms
- 2 1/4 Tbsp Creole Seasoning
- 1 1/2 pints Heavy Whipping Cream
- 3/4 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 3/4 tsp Onion Powder
- 3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1 gallon-sized Ziploc Bag
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Salt – to be used in pasta water
- 16 oz Farfalle Pasta
- 6 Unsweetened Applesauce Cups

Instructions

Fill a stock pot half way full with water over high heat.

Rinse mushrooms & bell pepper(s). Cut ends off the mushroom stems & slice. Cut stems off bell pepper(s), remove the inner core & seeds and then dice into bite size pieces.

Remove any fat from chicken & dice into bite size pieces. Add chicken & creole seasoning to a gallon zipper bag. Work seasoning around until chicken is evenly coated. Add olive oil to your largest frying pan (that has a lid) over medium heat.

Once water is boiling, add pasta & salt.

Take chicken from the bag & place into frying pan, cooking and stirring for about 3 minutes to brown the chicken. Stir pasta.

Once browned, add diced bell pepper. Stir, cover with a lid and cook for 3 min. Add sliced mushrooms, stir, and cook for another 3 min. Stir pasta again.

Ensure chicken is cooked by cutting into a large piece & ensuring juices run clear. Add cream to chicken & veggies along w/ onion powder & Italian seasoning. Heat through (without a lid), over medium heat.

Drain noodles. Add to chicken & sauce. Top with parmesan cheese & stir to combine. Simmer for one min., stirring often. Serve with apple sauce cups & enjoy!
